Skills for Marriage
Where you can develop proactive relationship skills,
without the blame game.
It all started when I asked my husband why men do not like marriage counseling.
He said that men are told constantly they are not enough or not doing enough, and they do not need it from one more place.
I began to see this theme echoed among other men in my life. While I know it is not true of everyone, at Skills for Marriage, we decided that we want to be a resource for couples to work on their relationship without placing fault or blame.

We help couples proactively work on their relationship through coaching, education, and resources.

Our goal is to keep the process safe, positive, and light-hearted.

We want to help strengthen your relationship, not by asking "what is wrong with it?" but rather, by building what is right, positive, and helpful.

If this is what you have been looking for, you are in the right place.
Let us introduce ourselves.
I'm Anne,
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich relationship coach and John C. Maxwell personal development coach.
I love using relationship coaching alongside personal development coaching so that we address the relationship in the context of whole-life satisfaction.
While it may be helpful to work on communication, sometimes it is even more helpful to work on the confidence issues holding you back from communicating in the first place.
I'm Kalista,
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich relationship coach.
Relationship coaching has been a game-changer for my own family, and I enjoy being that resource for others.
My mom used to tease that I was the "neighborhood counselor" when I was a child, because all the kids on our street would come running to our house when there was a conflict.
I have always enjoyed coming alongside people as they journey through life's challenges, giving advice when necessary, and seeing others grow and thrive.
I also do personal development coaching in addition to relationship coaching.
